Thank you to all our friends and supporters who joined us this past Monday to hear the inspiring and incomparable Belle Burden tell us more about her experiences behind her bestselling memoir, Strangers. A story of heartbreak and resiliency, Belle’s book resonated with an audience of thousands in its early days of publication and quickly went viral. We are grateful to have had the opportunity to hear the story retold live from Belle herself, moderated by her longtime friend and mentor, prolific journalist Marie Brenner.

Belle’s vulnerability and incredible ability to build great art from her experiences is a testament to the importance of accessible mental health care. We are eternally grateful for the support of our friends and partners in the Droste mission to provide mental health services to all New Yorkers in need.

Thanks again to all who participated and made this amazing event a reality. We hope to see you all at another event soon!
